I had the pleasure of being invited to display my work at Nodland Cellars in Spokane Valley, WA for the Spokane Valley First Friday Artwalk 4/1/11. The owner just had a wildlife artist in last month so he requested some wine or music related paintings. "No problem" I responded. I had two weeks to fill a wall and no music/wine related paintings to show. Here's one painting I did for the event.

"Where there's a will there's a way" correct? I did complete seven paintings and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of painting outside the box. It pushed me technically and creatively and really that's how we grow as artists. Pushing our limits.
